Can You Make money With Blogs??

How do you make money with blogs. I know you can make a blog and post the internet programs that you are involved in. Maybe you'll get some signups if you advertise your blog in safelist, traffic exchanges and other areas. You can also add Google Adsense in the blog and Google will pay you a few cents when some of the ads that you put in your blog is clicked on by someone who visited your blog.

But it is not a great moneymaker. Is anybody here making money with the Google ads in their blogs?

The owner of this forum earns a few cents when one of us click on any of the Ads By Google. If you have a forum like this - I think you can earn a pretty good amount because of the number of members of this forum who click on the ads.

But if you don't have a well visited site such as a forum - how can you earn from Google adsense?? Anybody making good money with blogs?

I also heard that a personal blog - with just your biography and experiences will make you money. Does anybody know if that is true?
