then why so many youngsters chose to end up their lives when at their prime time?
the main reason is the high social pressure and low psychological state and the inability to cope with pressure. but are those so- called low psychological studets the only ones to take the blame?
i guess we have to comprehend this issue in a comprehensive way:
firstly, the false guidance of teachers:
under the pressure of examinations , teachers are more concerned with what should go into the students instead of what should be taken out so that students could reach a standard answer.... students are aware of the concept of "learning to know " but not necessarily "learning to be"
secondly, the high expectation from parents :
parents seem to care more about how much score their children could get rather than what they have learnt from education at school, ignoring cultivation of students' other aspects
thirdly, mass media' impellment
mass media focus too much on the NCEE [高考],which leaves the students the only choice rather than an alternative
then, the pressure form employers
they emphasize on certificates and degrees,. students are busy collecting various certificates.even with the sacrifice of their advantages and majors. for it is a phenomenon that employers would relate education to professional titles . the frustration and failure in the process of taking exams .they got lost ...
of course, whatever cause it may be, we have to take the responsibilities .
no man is an island , and we mustn't live for ourselves.
then, have a vision and self-efficacy is also of great importance . without realizing who we are, what we what,and where our advantages lie , we will easily get frustrated and go to extrem.
when we lose our girlfriends or boyfriends, we know that we haven't lost the whole world... our parents , our friends ,our furture are waiting for us ... there's so many things to do .
so ,look before you leap. and cherish your life for it is beautiful!
