How many hours are too many hours?

If you're S.O. works a lot of hours at their job, at what point does it start to affect your relationship? I personally work 50 - 55 hrs a week, and find that it doesn't leave a whole lot of time for meeeting new people, but it does leave enough time for maintaining existing relationships. Just looking for other folks' opinion on this one . . .
