where to go in Paris

I am travelling to Paris in late april for a custom motorcycle show and wanted to find out where to go to have fun. I am travelling with a couple of friends and we all would like to enjoy our trip as much as possible. I will do the normal tourist things, eiffel tower, things like that but I want to know about night life, restaurants, shows, where do all the fun people go at night? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
