Let's see, Putin and Bush were invited. Mr. Rudd and family are coming. So are many other friends and supporters of China, and there are many in the world. It is billed as the biggest party in the world for quite a while.

I don't think Merkel was, at least so far.

Ah, but then there is the clown - (almost king) Charles! Amid great fanfare, the self-important little jerk announced that he was not coming, given the bad case of heartburn he got the last time he attended a major Chinese event - namely the return of Hong Kong in 1997.

Er, who invited the jerk? Oh, you mean nobody? So, . . . . can you really uninvite yourself if you are not invited? That must be part of the proud English tradition of being cheeky.

And who wouldn't wanna invite such an "important" personage, whose only claim to fame in his miserable "accomplished" life was, like the Mother Goose ditty said, "had a wife but couldn't keep her . . . ."
